Programme
Departure from your country, overnight flight.
Johannesburg, Pretoria
- Arrival at Johannesburg OT International Airport. Transfer to hotel.
- Afternoon guided sightseeing in Pretoria.
- Dinner together.
Accommodation: 4 star accommodation in the elegant area of the city.
Tribal Village and Pilanesberg Game Reserve
- Visit to Lesedi Cultural Village, meet the original six tribes people of the village, followed by cultural show, dance and lunch.
- Transfer to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve: evening wildlife safari in cars with a game ranger.
Dinner and overnight
Accommodation: 4 star accommodation in the Wildlife Reserve PILANESBERG.
Wildlife, optional activities
Early in the morning we will again set out for game drives in safari cars, accompanied by experienced game rangers. After the program, we return for a hearty breakfast. The rest of the day is free to relax in the pool garden or participate in optional activities:
- Shuttle transfer to Sun City, 10 km away,
- Hot air balloon flight over the Game Reserve (early morning),
- Hiking game drive with armed ranger in the game reserve,
- 1 hour quad bike tour,
- 1 hour archery.
Accommodation: as the previous evening, full board, in the PILANESBERG.
IMPORTANT: Not malaria affected area, no vaccination or medication required!
Flight to Cape Town, sightseeing.
- Transfer to Johannesburg airport and flight to Cape Town.
- Transfer, around 16:00 hrs walk together to the harbour.
- Optional programme:
Around 17:00 hrs sunset cruise on the Atlantic Ocean on a luxury catamaran boat for one and a half hours - subject to weather and availability. - In the evening, dinner together in a cosy restaurant in the port area.
Accommodation: 4-star hotel near the port in CAPE TOWN.
Cape Town sightseeing, incl.Table Mountain
At 08:30, half day guided city tour with local guide, which may include a visit to Table Mountain, weather permitting.
Afternoon free time activities or optional activities:
- visit to Robben Island,
- helicopter flight over the city and the peninsula,
- "High Tea experience at the luxurious Mount Nelson Hotel,
- Visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium on the Waterfront.
- Evening free.
Accommodation: as the night before, in CAPE TOWN.
Full day excursion to the Cape Peninsula
Breakfast followed by a full day guided excursion with local guide to the Cape Peninsula:
- Hout Bay, Panorama Road, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point lookout.
- Lunch together on the Ocean Beach at noon,
- Afternoon penguin lap, then return to town. Evening free.
Accommodation: as the night before, in CAPE TOWN.
Exploring the Cape wine region and African style farewell dinner
08:30 - 09:00 Departure for a full day guided tour of the Cape Winelands.
During the programme:
- Visit wine farms such as Stellenbosch,
- Franschhoek and Paarl,
- 3 wine tasting sessions, 1 visit to a wine cellar, 1 picnic lunch at a winery.
The evening is free or you can choose an optional dinner as farewell programme:
- Departure around 18:00 for an African style dinner,
- Drumming lesson.
- a buffet dinner of delicious food, music and sometimes dancing.
- Transfer to the hostel.
Accommodation: as the night before, in CAPE TOWN.
Return home: free time in Cape Town and night flight to Europe
After breakfast, short free time, check-out from the hotel and private transfer to Cape Town International Airport. Check-in for your flight to Europe and return to Europe by overnight flight.
