Programme
Departure from your own country, by overnight flight
Arrival and check-in on the boat
Arrival at Durban King Shaka Airport in the midday/early afternoon. Private transfer to the houseboat for approximately 4 hours. Check-in to the boat, after occupying cabins, a delicious dinner awaits guests.
Accommodation: 4-star houseboat, PONGOLAPOORT DAM
The luxury quality houseboat is 30 metres long, 8.6 metres wide, three decks, accommodating 20 visitors comfortably. Each cabin is double and air-conditioned, with 6 x luxury en-suite cabins and 4 x pontoon en-suite cabins.
Fishing programme
After breakfast, full day fishing programme, breakfast, lunch, dinner on request. Explore the smaller bays with the attached boats and try and enjoy all the facilities of the boat, such as the Jacuzzi.
Fish species: the protected tiger fish, sharp-toothed catfish, barbel, carp, imber, river goby, purple- and red-nosed labeo, silver raptor. Stb.
Accommodation: as above - Pongolapoort Dam
Last day
Have breakfast on the houseboat and prepare to disembark. Private transfer to Durban King Shaka Airport and flight to Europe by overnight flight.

Discover Cape Town
- Flight from King Shaka Airport Durban to Cape Town, 2 hours drive.
- Arrival early afternoon, welcome, followed by orientation tour and transfer to accommodation.
- Around 17:00 hrs, optional sunset cruise on a catamaran boat on the Atlantic Ocean coast (weather permitting).
- In the evening, free time and dinner in a cosy restaurant in the port - at own expense.
Accommodation: 4-star near the port area, breakfast included, CAPE TOWN
Full day tour of the Cape Peninsula
- After breakfast, full day guided tour of the Cape Peninsula.
- Visit to the populous Hout Bay.
- View the famous panoramic view of Chapman's Peak.
- Continue to the Cape of Good Hope.
- Ascend to Cape Point lookout by funicular.
- We visit the favourite cove of the African penguins, Boulders Beach.
- Return to the city in the afternoon.
- Dinner in the evening at a restaurant with a real African atmosphere, where we will enjoy a 14-course menu.
- The program starts with a drumming lesson at 18:30, followed by African music and fun. Return transport.
Accommodation: as the night before, CAPE TOWN
Full day programme in the Cape Winelands
- Today guests will again enjoy a guided full day programme.
- Visit to the most important towns of Cape Winelands: Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.
- During the day, 1 x wine cellar visit, 3 x wine tasting and 1 x picnic lunch from a hamper in the garden of one of the wine farms.
- In the afternoon return to the city. Evening is at leisure.
Accommodation: as the previous evening, CAPE TOWN.

Short free time in the morning, possibly for shopping, then getting ready to leave the hotel and the country.

In the early afternoon, transfer with an escort to Cape Town airport and return flight from Cape Town to Europe by overnight flight.

Some useful information
About the boat:
Its restaurant serves delicious meals – full board – the bar offers cocktails, drinks, pleasant music and good vibes, all combined with the 12-seater Jacuzzi for total comfort. The ship’s qualified and experienced captain and his crew of 6 will ensure that all your needs are catered for. And for exploring smaller bays, 3 medium-sized boats are available separately.
Recommended fishing area:
Lake Jozini is South Africa’s largest lake, size 16,000 hectare part of Pongolapoort Dam, one of the largest fish-bearing lakes in the world, situated at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains and surrounded by Africa’s colourful game reserve of the Pongola Game Reserve, located on the border with Swaziland.
The lake is famous mainly for its protected population of tiger fish – the life-taking, attack-instinct tiger fish – among many other species of fish such as sharp-toothed catfish, barb, imber, carp, river goby, purple- and red-nosed labeo, silver rapier, etc.
